Probate - Informal Closing

Prior to filing a Petition for Informal Closing, we either need to prepare a full accounting of the administration of the estate per ARS §14-3933(A(3) to the distributees whose interests are affected thereby, or we need to provide waivers of accounting from all of those beneficiaries.

The informal closing Informal Closing Template produces:
1. Closing Statement
2. Certificate of Registrar
3. Application for Registrar's Certificate
4. Affidavit re Creditors
5. Acceptance or Rejection of Informal Closing Statement
6. Letter Enclosing Documents to be Signed by PR for Closing

Send Proof of Notice showing that a copy of the closing statement has been mailed to all distributees of the estate and to all creditors or other claimants of whom the personal representative is aware whose claims are neither paid nor barred. See ARS §14-3933

If no proceedings involving the personal representative are pending in the court one year after the closing statement is filed, the appointment of the personal representative terminates. That is when the Certificate of Registrar comes back to us from the Probate Registrar.
